The Beauty is based on the comic book of the same name by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. The story follows detectives investigating a mysterious sexually transmitted virus that transforms people into a state of physical perfection—but with terrifying and dangerous side effects.
The series features a star-studded cast including Evan Peters as Cooper Madsen, Anthony Ramos as The Assassin, Jeremy Pope as Jeremy, Ashton Kutcher as The Corporation, and Rebecca Hall as Jordan Bennett. Isabella Rossellini also appears in a recurring role as Franny Forst.
Ryan Murphy and Matt Hodgson created the series, bringing their signature blend of dark storytelling and striking visuals to the adaptation. The new trailer teases the unsettling consequences of the virus and hints at the intense investigations and moral dilemmas that drive the plot.
I think The Beauty could be one of the most talked-about shows of early 2026, especially with Ryan Murphy’s creative vision and the high-profile cast. The combination of horror and social commentary is very timely, and the trailer already has a chilling, intense energy.
