The new trailer released by Toho Animation gives fans a taste of what’s coming, featuring “more than words” by Hitsujibungaku, the ending theme from the anime’s second season. The film will compile the major moments from the Shibuya Incident while also teasing the upcoming Culling Game storyline, which will be the focus of Season 3.
Following its debut in Japan, JUJUTSU KAISEN: Execution will reach audiences around the world. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will bring the film to the UK and Ireland on November 14, with additional international releases planned across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific regions shortly after. Toho Animation and GKIDS will handle the North American release on December 5.
Crunchyroll currently streams both seasons of the anime, as well as the prequel film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0. Fans won’t have to wait too long for new episodes either—Season 3, which adapts The Culling Game arc, is set to premiere in January 2026.
According to Crunchyroll’s description, the new film follows the events of the Shibuya Incident, when a mysterious barrier traps thousands of civilians during Halloween. Gojo Satoru faces a deadly ambush, while Yuji Itadori and his allies battle curses across the city. The story then shifts to the aftermath, where chaos spreads through Japan as cursed colonies form under the influence of Noritoshi Kamo. Amid this turmoil, Yuta Okkotsu is ordered to execute Yuji, leading to a dramatic clash between two of Gojo’s strongest students.
The film promises to bring together action, emotion, and a preview of what’s next in the series—offering fans a big-screen experience before Season 3 begins.
