New Trailer Reveals Patrick Dempsey as a Hitman Battling Alzheimer’s in ‘Memory of a Killer’
Fox has released a new trailer for its new series “Memory of a Killer,” starring Patrick Dempsey and Michael Imperioli. The show is set to premiere this January.
The story follows Angelo Doyle, played by Dempsey, a skilled hitman who begins to lose his memory due to early-onset Alzheimer’s. As his condition worsens, Angelo starts to regain his conscience. He teams up with his friend Dutch, portrayed by Imperioli, who works as a chef at a restaurant that doubles as a front for criminal activity. Together, they must protect Angelo’s family from serious danger.

“Angelo is exceptionally resourceful and talented, the best of the best. But he’s about to be tested like never before — and now every minute counts. This is only made more difficult when he discovers that his wife’s recent death may not have been an accident. So, when someone comes after his daughter — who is pregnant — it’s clear the wall between his lives has been breached. Now Angelo must hunt down his mortal enemy while continuing to carry out hits without giving away his diagnosis and still making it home in time to cook dinner for his daughter,” the series description reads.
Other cast members include Richard Harmon as Joe, Odeya Rush as Maria, Daniel David Stewart as Jeff, Peter Gadiot as Dave, a local police detective, and Gina Torres as Special Agent Linda Grant.
“Memory of a Killer” is produced by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment. Patrick Dempsey also serves as an executive producer alongside Aaron Zelman, Glenn Kessler, Ed Whitmore, Tracey Malone, Cathy Schulman, and David Schulner. Arthur Sarkissian, Martin Campbell, and Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks are also listed as executive producers.
This series promises a mix of action, suspense, and emotional depth as Angelo fights to keep his family safe while struggling with his deteriorating memory. The concept of a hitman grappling with Alzheimer’s adds a unique twist to the crime thriller genre, making it one of the more intriguing shows to watch this winter.
