New ‘Wonder Man’ Promo Puts Trevor Slattery Front and Center
A new promo for Wonder Man has been released, giving fans a fresh look at Trevor Slattery’s return to the Marvel world.
The series is one of Marvel Studios’ upcoming projects for Disney+, and it will introduce a new take on the classic comic hero while keeping its story grounded in the MCU timeline.
Wonder Man comes from creators Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. Marvel Studios confirmed that the show will fall under its Marvel Television label and stay in line with the events of the films. Guest leads the creative team as showrunner, while the series is produced by Marvel Studios together with Family Owned and Onyx Collective.

The show centers on Simon Williams, an actor who is trying to get his career on track. His big chance comes when he auditions for the lead role in a remake of a movie about Wonder Man. Trevor Slattery, played again by Ben Kingsley, is also part of the project, joining Simon in the strange and competitive world of Hollywood. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as Simon Williams and brings the superhero version of Wonder Man to life. The cast also includes Arian Moayed, X Mayo, Zlatko Burić, Olivia Thirlby, and Byron Bowers.
Filming began in Los Angeles in April 2023. Production stopped soon after because of the Writers Guild of America strike, which affected many Hollywood projects at the time. Work started again at the beginning of 2024 and wrapped up that April. Marvel Studios officially presented the show a few months later, confirming its place in the MCU’s Phase Six lineup.
Disney+ will release Wonder Man on January 27, 2026. The series will have eight episodes and will be part of the Marvel Spotlight banner, which focuses on character-driven stories. At its core, the show follows two actors, Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery, who both want a shot at landing roles in a movie about a hero they can only dream of becoming.
