Nicola Peltz Called the “Worst Celebrity Ever” by Former Employee Amid Beckham Feud
The public rift within the Beckham dynasty has widened significantly this week, drawing in unexpected commentary from industry insiders. Justin Anderson, a celebrity hairstylist who previously worked with Nicola Peltz, has inserted himself into the narrative by firmly taking the side of David and Victoria Beckham.
Anderson did not mince words when discussing his professional experiences with the heiress, labeling her a detrimental force within the famous family.
In a scathing social media comment on Monday, January 19, Anderson offered a character assessment that aligns with the rumors of tension. “Brooklyn’s wife was one of the worst ‘celebs’ I’ve ever worked with,” the hairdresser wrote. He went on to emphasize his stance, stating, “It’s her [100 percent emoji]. She’s a baddddd apple. Everyone knows how close the Beckham family really is …”

Anderson did not stop with a single comment, taking to his Instagram Stories to elaborate on his feelings regarding the 31-year-old actress. He described her presence as having “spooky energy” and claimed she was “not nice.” The stylist suggested that the warning signs were visible long before the marriage was official.
“I can say with my full chest. Not good energy … Based on how many wedding planners she went through, I think she’s the issue,” Anderson claimed. He noted that his concern for the Beckham family began the moment the engagement became serious. “Not a good person … So, like I perked up right when I saw they were getting married. I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, this isn’t going to be good for that family.’”

These external comments arrived simultaneously with a bombshell statement from Brooklyn Beckham himself. The 26-year-old broke his silence on the long-standing speculation regarding his family’s dynamics. In a lengthy post to his Instagram Stories, also on January 19, Brooklyn defended his wife and declared he has no desire to reconcile with his parents.
He addressed the accusations that Nicola is the one driving a wedge between him and his British relatives. “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,” he claimed. Brooklyn described his estrangement from the Beckham clan as a liberating experience for his mental health.
“For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared,” he wrote. “I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.” This marks the most direct confirmation of the feud since rumors began circulating after the couple’s lavish April 2022 wedding in Palm Beach.
Brooklyn also provided specific details regarding the infamous “dress drama” that has plagued the tabloids for years. He confirmed that the initial plan was indeed for Nicola to wear a design by Victoria Beckham. However, he placed the blame for the change squarely on his mother.

“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding and it hasn’t stopped,” he wrote. “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.” He further revealed that the fashion designer allegedly “hijacked” the couple’s first dance, adding another layer of grievance to the event.
The tension was palpable publicly when the young couple did not attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in May 2025. While David’s other children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were present to celebrate the milestone, Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent. This physical distance has now been contextualized by Brooklyn’s admission that he is actively avoiding his family.
Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of the soccer legend and the Spice Girl, has tried his hand at various careers over the last decade. He initially pursued photography, releasing a book titled What I See in 2017. More recently, he has pivoted to the culinary world, launching an online series called Cookin’ with Brooklyn, though he has faced criticism for his lack of professional training.
Despite the career hurdles, Brooklyn remains a fixture in the modeling world and a brand ambassador. He has secured lucrative partnerships with major luxury brands such as Tiffany & Co. and Pepe Jeans. He also frequently appears in high-profile fashion campaigns alongside Nicola, positioning them as a modern power couple.
Nicola Peltz is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner. She began her acting career as a child, landing her breakout role as Katara in the 2010 film The Last Airbender. She later gained recognition for her role as Bradley Martin in the profound A&E drama series Bates Motel, which served as a prequel to Psycho.
Her film credits also include a starring role in Transformers: Age of Extinction and the romantic comedy Holidate. Recently, Nicola made her directorial debut with the independent film Lola, which she also wrote and starred in. The project was a significant step in her attempt to establish herself as a serious filmmaker outside of her acting roles.
The family was also the subject of the hit Netflix documentary series Beckham, which offered an intimate look at their rise to fame and marriage. The series was praised for its candid nature, though the current feud suggests that the most dramatic chapters of their family life are happening off-camera. With lines now clearly drawn, a reunion seems unlikely in the near future.
