Nicolas Cage Haunts the Screen in Teaser for Dark Biblical Horror ‘The Carpenter’s Son’
A new teaser has dropped for The Carpenter’s Son, an upcoming French-American horror film starring Nicolas Cage, FKA Twigs, Noah Jupe, and Souheila Yacoub. The film is set to be released in Fall 2025.
The story is inspired by the apocryphal Infancy Gospel of Thomas, a 2nd-century text that explores the childhood of Jesus.
This gives the film a mix of historical setting and dark supernatural elements. Nicolas Cage plays the Carpenter, FKA Twigs is cast as the Mother, Noah Jupe plays the Boy, and Souheila Yacoub also stars in a key role.

Filming began in September 2024 in Megara. During production, Cage reportedly had a frightening encounter with a swarm of bees in one of the caves used for shooting.
In May Magnolia Pictures acquired U.S. distribution rights for the film, according to sources.
The newly released teaser promises a tense and eerie atmosphere, showing a story that blends family drama with supernatural terror. The short preview hints at a dark, gripping tale that explores ancient legend through a chilling lens.
