Comedian Nikki Glaser took the stage for the first time as host of Saturday Night Live this weekend, delivering a fearless monologue that targeted some of the most talked-about names in politics and pop culture.

Right from the start, Glaser leaned into her own appearance, cracking jokes about her spray tan.

The topic quickly shifted into a jab at President Donald Trump, well-known for his trademark orange hue. “There’s so many pasty white girls who are terrified to get spray tans, ‘I’m going to look orange!’ Believe me, I promise you, it’s better than what you are,” she said, adding, “They’re always like ‘I’m going to look like Trump!’ B****, that’s why he won!”

Glaser didn’t stop there. She joked that Trump “picked an insane shade” for his tan, teasing that “he didn’t go Kamala, but he picked a shade that half of America was like, OK, we can still tell he’s white.” The line got laughs from the crowd as she pointed out how strange it is that people can change their skin tone and still call it “normal.”

Later in her set, Glaser turned her spray-tan humor into a health joke, imagining a future where she develops “tan lung” from years of exposure to tanning chemicals. “I really want to be on the commercials for the class action lawsuit… It’ll be like me and Snooki, talking through our trachs, RFK Junior’ing out,” she quipped, referencing presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “He’s got tan lung. I mean, he’s stage two, I don’t know. I’m no health expert, but neither is he.”

The “comedian” also poked fun at New York’s darker side, calling the city “Epstein’s original island,” a clear reference to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Glaser added another punchline, saying friends have told her she has “resting Ghislaine face,” referring to Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

The episode also featured both Trump and RFK Jr. in its cold open. The sketch mocked a recent viral moment from the White House involving a pharmaceutical executive collapsing while Trump appeared unfazed. RFK Jr. was portrayed as bolting from the scene “like someone was trying to give him a vaccine,” keeping with his reputation for vaccine skepticism.
