‘No Hard Feelings’ Star Jennifer Lawrence Makes a Rare Front-Row Appearance in a Dreamy Baby-Blue Dior Slip
Jennifer Lawrence isn’t the kind of star who turns up at every fashion event, which makes each of her appearances feel like a genuine occasion. The Oscar winner has been a Dior ambassador since 2012 and became the face of the Joy by Dior perfume in 2018. Still, Jennifer Lawrence at Paris Fashion Week remains a relatively rare sight, and her latest outing reminded fans exactly why that’s a shame.
Her loyalty to the house runs deep. She has become a staple of Jonathan Anderson’s Dior shows, attending his Haute Couture presentation in January and the Spring/Summer 2026 ready-to-wear show last October. For that couture debut, she broke the usual dress code entirely by wearing a white tank top and jeans.
On September 29, Lawrence made a rare public appearance at the Dior Spring/Summer 2027 ready-to-wear show in Paris. She arrived in a pale powder-blue slip dress, a far softer and more romantic look than the casual denim she wore in January.
The details were delicate but deliberate. The dress featured thin spaghetti straps and scalloped lace trim along the plunging V-neckline and open side panels, along with a tonal floral pattern. Rather than falling in a simple column, the skirt was gathered and draped across the hips.
W Magazine noted that the top half read almost like a thrift store nightie, while the asymmetrical ruching on the skirt delivered the playful twist that has become synonymous with Anderson’s vision for the house. The low back and leg slit added to the airy, lingerie-inspired feel.

Lawrence kept the entire look tonal. She carried a Dior Small Lady D-Joy bag in the same icy blue shade, a horizontal take on the iconic Lady Dior with classic Cannage quilting and gold-tone charms. On her feet, she wore powder-blue Dior Bow slingback sandals.
Her beauty styling stayed relaxed. Photos show her with long, wavy hair worn down with bangs, plus dark rectangular sunglasses and a delicate gold necklace. According to reports, the actress styled the dress herself.
The show also gave fans a few fun moments beyond the outfit. Lawrence was spotted chatting with Rosalía and telling the singer how much she loved her new album, ‘LUX’. She was also photographed alongside Miranda Kerr at the event.

The timing of her appearance has drawn attention, too. With her Instagram account newly activated and her Paris Fashion Week outing underway, W Magazine suggested Lawrence might be at her most powerful right now.
Fashion watchers have largely celebrated the look. One outlet described it as proof that slip dresses remain the ultimate choice for understated luxury on the front row, while another praised her for reviving head-to-toe pastel color matching.

Part of the excitement comes from how seldom she leans into this kind of dreamy, feminine styling. Compared with her more casual Dior appearances, the soft blue slip felt like a delicate change of pace, and plenty of fans are hoping she embraces it more often.
