Noah Schnapp has officially revealed he is in a new relationship. The 21-year-old star, best recognized for his portrayal of Will Byers in the Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things, has publicly introduced his partner to his followers.

On Wednesday, April 1, the actor utilized his Instagram Stories to mark their one-month anniversary by posting a charming image of the couple together. He accompanied the snapshot with a heart emoji and the brief caption, “One month of us.” In the shared photo, Schnapp is seen with his arm draped around his partner’s back, while the other man has both arms resting on the actor’s shoulders.

This update serves as a rare personal glimpse into the life of the young performer, whose mystery boyfriend has not yet been named. This romantic milestone comes several years after Schnapp’s public coming out in early 2023, an announcement that followed the official confirmation that his character in Stranger Things was also gay.

At the time, he shared a lighthearted TikTok video detailing the reaction of his inner circle. He joked that after being apprehensive about sharing his truth for eighteen years, his friends and family simply replied, “We know.”

In that viral clip, he lip-synced to a popular audio track about things not being as serious as they seem. He further leaned into the irony of the situation with a caption noting, “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.” Since then, he has been an open advocate for the LGBTQ+ community while continuing to balance his massive acting career with his personal growth.

The timing of this news follows the major conclusion of the series that made him a household name. The fifth and final season of Stranger Things wrapped up its run on Netflix with a massive finale on December 31, 2025.

This epic conclusion provided a resolution for Will Byers and the rest of the Hawkins crew, allowing Schnapp to officially move on to new professional chapters. Earlier this year, he was spotted attending high-profile events such as the Ralph Lauren Fall fashion show in Milan, where he appeared alongside Nick Jonas.

He is also scheduled to appear at several “Stranger Fan Meet” conventions across Europe, including stops in Madrid and Milan throughout the spring of this year. While he hasn’t announced his next major film role yet, he has been focusing on expanding his business ventures, including his sustainable snack brand, TBH.

As he navigates life after Hawkins, fans are excited to see him embracing this new stage of adulthood and happiness. With the show that defined his teenage years now finished, he seems to be enjoying a well-deserved period of exploration and connection.
