Adriana Lima has spent this fashion month proving that a supermodel’s career doesn’t end when the Victoria’s Secret wings come off. The Brazilian star has been hopping between Europe’s style capitals, collecting headlines at nearly every stop. Her latest Adriana Lima Paris Fashion Week appearance kept that momentum going in a big way.

The run began well before Paris. On September 18, Lima wore an elegant black gown with an open back to El Corte Inglés’ Closing Party in Madrid. Days later, on September 22, she stepped out in Milan after Vogue World in a fitted black leather jacket, relaxed blue jeans, and sleek black ankle boots.

On Tuesday, September 29, Lima arrived at the Revolve Magazine launch party during Paris Fashion Week. She wore a Revolve Los Angeles Rouen leather jacket styled as a dress, cinched with a wide belt and finished with an Aquazzura Envelope clutch. Red curtains served as the photocall backdrop, making the black leather pop.

The jacket itself carried plenty of personality. The oversized leather design featured a broad collar, dropped shoulders, and utility-style pockets, while the wide matching belt pulled the shape firmly in at the waist. Lima’s hair was slicked back into a sleek style, keeping all the focus on the silhouette.

Fashion watchers loved the concept. Red Carpet Fashion Awards argued that wearing the jacket as a dress was far more interesting than styling it as simple outerwear. CelebMafia added that the piece never lost its original utility character, even once it became a mini.

The party marked a major moment for the retailer. Revolve Magazine launched as an annual print-and-digital title with separate covers featuring Kendall Jenner, Teyana Taylor, and Alex Consani. The celebration took place at Place Vendôme.

Lima was in very good company. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Anok Yai, Amelia Gray Hamlin, and Brooks Nader were among the guests photographed, while Revolve co-founders Michael Mente and Raissa Gerona posed for the house shot. Black dominated the night, with leather and cutouts emerging as recurring themes.

As with many celebrity fashion moments, the photos quickly spread across social media. Some commenters shifted the conversation away from the outfit and onto Lima’s figure, with speculation about weight loss surfacing in the comments. There is no evidence behind those claims, and Lima has not addressed them.

It’s a familiar pattern for women in the public eye, where a fashion moment can quickly turn into scrutiny of their bodies. For her part, Lima has kept her focus on work throughout the season.

Her packed calendar speaks for itself. More than 2 decades after becoming one of the most recognizable faces associated with Victoria’s Secret, the 45-year-old remains firmly in the fashion spotlight. Her recent street style in Milan even had fans comparing her to her early 2000s heyday.

She also has a history of nailing the leather trend in Paris. During a previous Haute Couture Week, she was photographed in a white tank top, white trousers, and a leather blazer, a look that Who What Wear compared to a favorite staple of French style. With Paris Fashion Week still underway, there’s a good chance Lima will deliver a few more memorable outfits before the season wraps.
