WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the first season of Loki, and the first season of What If…? are now behind us, but you know Marvel, there’s always something to look forward to.
Apart from the fact that we’ll get two more MCU movies by the end of this year, there is one more Disney+ show set in the MCU we’re gonna be checking out – Hawkeye. Starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye and introducing Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Clint’s protege who will apparently take up the mantle, or better say bow and arrow, of Hawkeye and continue his work in the future of the MCU.
Today, Marvel unveiled the official poster of the series:
The poster is showing us Clint and Kate in their matching purple work suits. We can also see their companion Lucky the Pizza Dog who is pretty much known to the readers of the comic books. The show will be set during the Holiday season, and it will be all about superheroes and Yuletide Cheer mix, which is something we haven’t seen in the MCU since Iron Man 3. If you love Christmas and Superhero movies equally, this show is the perfect Christmas present for you.
The show is set after the events of Avengers Endgame. Clint is now definitely sure he wants to retire and settle down with his family. But even if you escape superhero life, superhero life can’t escape from you. Once his old enemies he made during his days as Ronin reemerge, Clint will start training young Kate Bishop, a master archer, whose help he’ll need to beat them.
Hawkeye will premiere with the first two episodes on November 24.
