One of the ‘Weakest’ Avengers Might Actually Be the Strongest—He’s Never Lost a Fight in the MCU!

When discussing the most powerful Avengers in the MCU, names like Thor, Scarlet Witch, and Hulk often come up, sparking debates about their strengths, weaknesses, and various power levels. However, we frequently overlook the achievements of seemingly less powerful characters.

One such character is Hawkeye, who, despite being considered one of the weaker Avengers, may actually be the strongest when evaluating his overall survivability and accomplishments. The debate continues within the community about whether his exceptional marksmanship should be classified as a superpower.

Clint Barton, renowned for his exceptional marksmanship and archery skills, possesses remarkable situational awareness, as demonstrated when he was the only one able to sense and incapacitate Wanda Maximoff during the Battle at the Salvage Yard. His threat detection surpasses that of other Avengers, including enhanced humans and cosmic-level beings. But these feats are just the start.

Hawkeye is frequently seen taking down formidable opponents, including numerous Chitauri Troopers, an entire Chitauri Chariot, Ultron Sentries, and other secondary enemies.

When facing more powerful threats, Hawkeye fought Black Widow to a standstill while under Loki’s brainwashing, only losing due to her guerrilla tactics. He later matched her skill during the Civil War. Additionally, he held his own against Scarlet Witch and Black Panther, managing to avoid Wanda’s manipulation powers and sustaining himself in both encounters.

In The Avengers, Hawkeye, under Loki’s mind control, fought Thor in an intense battle showcasing both their combat skills. Hawkeye used his archery, while Thor wielded Mjolnir. The fight ended with Thor incapacitating Hawkeye and continuing his search for Loki.

Hawkeye’s impressive list of accomplishments grows even more notable when considering his feats as Ronin.

Hawkeye was instrumental in defeating Ultron, and interestingly, fans have humorously noted that the Avengers lost in Infinity War when Hawkeye was absent, but triumphed in Endgame when he was present. This suggests that Hawkeye’s presence might be a crucial factor in the Avengers’ success against any adversary.
