‘One Piece’ Reveals Exciting First Look Trailer for ‘Egghead’ Arc Ahead After a Six Month Break
One Piece anime has given fans a first glimpse of what’s coming next in the Egghead Arc’s present-day story. After a six-month break, Part 2 of the Egghead Arc started, and it spent some time focused on a flashback.
That flashback is now over, so the story is moving forward to the events happening on Dr. Vegapunk’s island laboratory.
In the latest episode, Kuma and Bonney finally reunite after being apart for many years, as shown during the flashback. This reunion sets the stage for the main action of the Egghead Arc. To build excitement, One Piece released a new teaser trailer that shows some of the fights coming up.
The anime also shared a first look at its new opening theme song, “CARMINE,” performed by ELLEGARDEN. While the exact episode when this new opening will start hasn’t been announced yet, it’s expected to come sometime this summer. This fits well with the story heating up, as the flashbacks have ended and the focus shifts back to Luffy and the Straw Hats struggling to escape the dangers on the island.

Recently, the show revealed that Kuma managed to damage the powerful St. Saturn, but Saturn quickly healed, making it seem like nothing happened. Now, the Straw Hats are not planning to fight one of the Five Elders directly. Instead, they need to find a way to escape, which is becoming harder.
The Marines have launched a new Buster Call, which is a huge military attack meant to destroy Egghead Island completely.
The new opening and possibly a new ending song mean that big changes are coming in the story. The Buster Call was triggered because the Marines see what’s happening on Egghead as a huge threat. Dr. Vegapunk has been uncovering the real history of the world, Luffy has gained new powers with his Gear Fifth form, and Kuma has reunited with his daughter, all things the Marines want to stop. Now, Luffy and his friends face a dangerous escape while the Buster Call attack rages.
