Only Murders In The Building Season 2: Cara Delevingne Joins The Cast
Only Murders In The Building, a mystery-comedy series starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez premiered last August on Hulu and concluded its first 10-episode season in October. The show received positive reviews from critics and the audience, who praised the comedic approach in the whodunit genre. In September, Hulu officially renewed the show for Season 2, which recently started production.
And while the original cast is returning to the set, some new cast members will join them for the second season. As Variety reported, Cara Delevingne signed to join the show. She will play Alice, a character described as a world art insider who will have a role in the upcoming season’s mystery.
Season 1 finished with three main characters – Mabel, Charles-Haden, and Oliver – being arrested after Jayne Houdyshell‘s character Bunny was found dead in Arconia, the titular apartment building where the series is set.
Cara Delevingne made her acting debut as Princess Sorokina in the 2012 movie Anna Karenina. She also starred in the DC movie Suicide Squad, Carnival Row, and Luc Besson’s sci-fi Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets.
Only Murders in the Building Season 1 is now available on Hulu. Season 2 is expected to premiere next year.
Steve Martin shared the photo from the first day of filming Season 2 on Twitter:
Three strangers share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living among them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.
