Pamela Anderson is opening up about an uncomfortable moment she experienced at the 2026 Golden Globes. The actress spoke honestly about seeing Seth Rogen at the event and how it brought back painful feelings connected to the Hulu series Pam & Tommy.

During a recent appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, Anderson shared that after presenting an award, she did not stay long at the ceremony. She said she went straight back to her room and to bed. According to her, seeing Rogen in the audience played a role in that decision. She explained that he was involved in Pam & Tommy, a series made without her involvement or approval, and that it still affects her.

She told Cohen that the situation made her feel uneasy. “How can someone make a TV series out of the difficult times in your life, and I’m a living, breathing human being over here,” she said. Anderson added that Rogen was seated very close to her during the show, which made the moment even more uncomfortable.

Anderson described the feeling as strange and upsetting. She said it hit her unexpectedly, even though she has been busy with work and has filmed several movies recently. “It just felt a little yucky,” she admitted, adding that she hopes Rogen might one day reach out to her, even if it does not change much.

Cohen suggested that an apology might mean something to her, and Anderson agreed that the situation is still complicated. She spoke about how public figures are often told they have no right to privacy. Still, she believes deeply personal moments should not be turned into entertainment. “Your darkest, deepest secrets or tragedies shouldn’t be fair game for a TV series,” she said, explaining that the show focused on what she calls the worst period of her life.

The actress also shared how uncomfortable award shows can be for her in general. She said she often feels out of place in those rooms and avoids confrontation. While she did not speak to Rogen directly, she said she imagined telling him exactly how she felt while sitting in her seat.

Despite everything, Anderson made it clear she is trying to move forward. She said she does not want to dwell on it and reminded herself that there are bigger problems in the world.

Anderson has spoken about Pam & Tommy before. In her Netflix documentary Pamela, A Love Story, she said the producers should have asked for her permission. She has also said she has no interest in watching the series, which tells a fictionalized version of her relationship with Tommy Lee and the stolen tape scandal from the 1990s. “I have no desire to watch it,” she previously said, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Andy Cohen’s full interview with Pamela Anderson is set to air on SiriusXM on January 20.

Anderson’s feelings are easy to understand. Telling someone else’s painful story without their consent can leave lasting wounds, even years later. It raises real questions about privacy and respect in Hollywood. What do you think about shows being made without the subject’s approval? Share your thoughts in the comments.
