‘Paradise’ Announces Season 2 Premiere Date and Unveils Intense First Teaser
Paradise is officially coming back for Season 2, and Hulu has locked in the premiere date. The announcement was made during the show’s panel at Brazil Comic-Con, where fans also got their first look at the new season through a fresh teaser.
The series will drop its first three episodes on February 23. After that, new episodes will roll out every week on Hulu in the U.S. The show will also be available on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the States, and on Disney+ for viewers outside the U.S.
The first teaser gives a quick look at where the story is heading. It shows Xavier, played by Sterling K. Brown, in the aftermath of a crash as he tries to find his wife somewhere beyond the bunker.

Season 2 brings back a large ensemble cast. Alongside Brown, viewers will see Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans. The season will also include recurring appearances from James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, and Jon Beavers.
Hulu shared the new season’s official description, which says that Xavier’s search takes him into what’s left of the world while he tries to understand how people survived the years since “The Day.” Meanwhile, life inside Paradise becomes more unstable as the community faces the fallout from the events of Season 1 and uncovers new information about how the city began.
The series was given a Season 2 renewal before its first season even finished airing. The decision followed strong viewership and positive reactions from fans. The show was created by Dan Fogelman, who also serves as an executive producer. Sterling K. Brown is an executive producer as well as part of the main cast. Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra, and John Requa also executive produce, with 20th Television behind the production.
