Patty Jenkins Confirmed Wonder Woman 3 Is In Development! Is Lynda Carter A Part Of It?

Last night on DC FanDome, one of the guests was Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984. Although we got the news that WB has greenlighted the third movie solo movie about Princess of Themyscira starring Gal Gadot, now we heard it from the director herself!

What’s even more interesting, is that Jenkins attended the FanDome with Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman in the TV show from the ’70s and she made a special appearance as Asteria, the legendary Amazonian in the post-credit scene of Wonder Woman 1984, which opened the way to her return in Wonder Woman 3.

Both Jenkins and Carter said “We’re super excited” about the Wonder Woman 3. But, they didn’t actually reveal if Asteria will be back. It could be that Carter showed up at the FanDome because she’s indeed the legend among the Wonder Woman fans, or it could be because she’s actually taking a part in the upcoming project. Carter managed to dodge any legit reveals.

They said a lot, but at the same time still managed to say nothing. What we know for sure is that Wonder Woman 3 is definitely coming, Gal Gadot will reprise the titular role, and Jenkins will be writer and director. And as for Lynda Carter’s involvement, we shall wait and see.
