Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter Turn Heads by Dressing as Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards
Paul W. Downs and Megan Stalter stole attention at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards by dressing as one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. The moment quickly spread online after they appeared on the red carpet in outfits inspired by Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.
The awards show took place on January 4 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. According to coverage from the event, Downs and Stalter recreated the bright orange Chrome Hearts looks that Chalamet and Jenner wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme in December.

Downs, 43, matched Chalamet’s style with an orange shirt covered in silver buttons and a leather jacket layered on top. He added orange boots and carried a black Chrome Hearts ping-pong paddle over his shoulder, copying one of Chalamet’s standout accessories from the original look.

Stalter, 35, mirrored Jenner’s outfit closely. She wore a bold orange dress with a bra-style top, side cutouts, and a high slit. Like Jenner, she finished the look with a large silver cross necklace and a simple bracelet. The outfit closely matched the body-hugging dress Jenner wore at the film premiere.
While the real-life couple did not pose on the Critics Choice red carpet that night, they were seen together inside the venue. Downs and Stalter’s cosplay made up for their absence and became one of the most talked-about fashion moments of the evening.
Downs was also at the event as a nominee. He was up for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Hacks, though the award went to Ike Barinholtz for The Studio. Hacks was nominated for Best Comedy Series but lost to The Studio. Downs’ co-star Jean Smart won Best Actress in a Comedy Series, while Hannah Einbinder was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. That award went to Janelle James for Abbott Elementary.
