Paulina Porizkova celebrated entering her 61st year with a vibrant social media post that highlighted both her physical fitness and her journey toward self-confidence. On Wednesday, April 8, the day before her birthday, the supermodel shared a video of herself in a red and white striped bikini, taking a moment to reflect on her decades in the spotlight.
She noted a surprising contrast between her current state and the height of her early career, admitting that she felt far more vulnerable during her twenties. “I will be 61 tomorrow, and I understand this might sound crazy to you, but 40 years ago, when I was 21 and when I was at the height of my career and supermodeldom, that was when I felt the most insecure,” she shared with her followers.
She explained that constant professional comparisons at the time left her feeling as though she “never seemed to be good enough.” Porizkova observed that her younger self relied entirely on external validation, a mindset she has worked hard to leave behind.
Now in her sixties, Porizkova embraces a more empowered approach to health, focusing on strength and personal satisfaction. While showing off the results of her fitness routine, she clarified that her dedication isn’t just about beach season.
“Actually, who am I kidding? I kicked my workout up like 10 notches because I do want to look my best this summer, but not necessarily in a bikini… in a wedding dress,” she quipped before concluding the clip with a kiss.
The mention of bridal attire refers to her engagement to screenwriter Jeff Greenstein, who proposed in July 2025. The couple, who have been together for three years, often share glimpses of their supportive and playful relationship on their joint podcast.
Porizkova’s openness about aging has become a staple of her public presence, as she frequently challenges the industry’s traditional beauty standards by celebrating her natural evolution.

The film is currently in post-production and is expected to hit theaters later this year, marking her first major cinematic role in several years.
