The second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is on its way and will start streaming on Disney+ on December 10, with a special two-episode premiere.

Fans have a new reason to be excited because the episode titles for Season 2 have been revealed.

Season 2 takes Percy back to Camp Half-Blood a year after the first season. But things have changed a lot. Percy’s friendship with Annabeth is evolving, he discovers he has a cyclops brother, Grover has gone missing, and the camp is under attack by Kronos’ forces.

His journey to fix everything takes him off the map and into the dangerous Sea of Monsters, where a hidden fate awaits him, the son of Poseidon. The source for this story summary is Disney+ press releases and reports from the production team.

The cast returns with Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, and Daniel Diemer as Tyson. Charlie Bushnell will play Luke Castellan, and Dior Goodjohn returns as Clarisse La Rue. Recurring roles include Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Courtney B. Vance as Zeus, Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus, Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace, and Andra Day as Athena.

Filming mostly took place in Vancouver, including at the Volume stage at Mammoth Studios in Burnaby and a Camp Half-Blood location in Langley/Aldergrove. Early in September, Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Daniel Diemer were seen filming on West Hasting Street, which had been set up to look like New York City.

During those scenes, Diemer and Scobell were wearing jackets from Percy’s new school, Meriwether College Prep. Later that month, Scobell, Jeffries, Diemer, and Dior Goodjohn filmed at the Vancouver Spanish Banks with dramatic lightning and smoke effects.
