Disney+ is preparing to send demigods back into battle, and ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3 is shaping up to be the most intense chapter yet. Officially announced on March 14, 2025, the new season adapts ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s beloved book series.

The stakes are higher than ever this time around. When Annabeth is captured by the forces of Kronos, Percy must embark on a perilous journey to rescue her, free a goddess in chains, confront the Titan’s curse, and avoid triggering the fall of Olympus.

Now, fans finally know exactly when every episode will arrive. The release schedule and official episode titles for the 8-episode season have been confirmed in a post shared on X by Disney.

In a notable change, Season 3 will release 2 episodes every week on Disney+ and Hulu. That’s a shift from the first 2 seasons, which premiered with 2 episodes before switching to a single episode per week. The new format means the entire season will play out over just 4 weeks. Here’s how the schedule breaks down:

November 20

Episode 1: “My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong”

Episode 2: “An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit”

November 27

Episode 3: “I Learn How to Grow Zombies”

Episode 4: “We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods”

December 4

Episode 5: “I Have a Dam Problem”

Episode 6: “I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin”

December 11

Episode 7: “I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds”

Episode 8: “The Gods Vote How to Kill Us”

Longtime readers will recognize many of these titles. The premiere borrows its name from the first chapter of ‘The Titan’s Curse’, while the second episode takes its title from the book’s sixth chapter, suggesting the writers will condense some early events into the season opener.

The season premiere is also expected to introduce Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the children of Hades, played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie. The playful titles, including the fan-favorite “I Have a Dam Problem,” keep the series’ signature humor intact.

Several directors will share duties this season. James Bobin helms the first 2 episodes, followed by Nick Copus, Ben Semanoff and Jet Wilkinson, who direct the final 2 chapters. Craig Silverstein penned the premiere and both finale episodes, while Albert Kim wrote 2 installments. Sarah Watson, Tamara Becher-Wilkinson and Shae Worthy round out the writing team.

The series was created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg. Walker Scobell returns as Percy, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell and Tamara Smart.

The announcement arrives on the heels of a big moment at New York Comic Con. Scobell appeared on the Main Stage, where he discussed the new season with moderator Damian Holbrook and showcased an exclusive sneak peek for fans in attendance.

With the premiere just weeks away, excitement is building quickly. The faster release format also means fans won’t have to wait long between major story beats. The series first premiered on Disney+ on December 19, 2023, and has since become one of the platform’s key fantasy franchises.

Season 3 will once again be available on both Disney+ and Hulu. By wrapping up on December 11, the season will finish just ahead of the holidays. For fans who prefer to binge, the entire adventure will be available well before the end of the year.

What do you think of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3 releasing two episodes every week?
