The eight episode season releases one new episode every Tuesday until the finale on December 1. After “Vibes Are Rancid,” the schedule lists “House of Dog” on November 10, followed by episodes on November 17 and November 24.
The episodes released after “House of Dog” do not yet have public titles in the guides reviewed. That leaves the fourth episode as one of the last installments with a confirmed name before the back half of the season.
“Vibes Are Rancid” is credited to writer Lacey Jeka. The first episode was written and directed by creator Nick Paley, who executive produces alongside co-showrunner Anthony King and star Connie Britton.

Sources do not fully agree on the exact drop time. One schedule guide says new episodes arrive one minute after midnight Eastern Time on Tuesdays, which means West Coast viewers can tune in on Monday night.

“Reverse Cuckoo Situation” sees Sonny forced to stay home with Ellen, which gives him a chance to set a trap to catch her in her lies. The recap of the second episode also notes that Sharla tails Ellen to a meeting with a menacing stranger behind a bar.
The premiere ending does not confirm that Ellen has been replaced, and it does not rule out that Sonny is imagining things after a head injury. Paley has said the premise grew out of a fear he had as a child of losing his mother. Britton told Newsweek that the show is uncomfortable but “isn’t horror for horror’s sake at all.”
