Rachel McAdams Stuns in a Curve-Enhancing Bodycon Dress with Ultra-Low Neckline
Rachel McAdams went business-first for a January 20 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She wore a navy button-up bodycon dress with a slicked back updo. The appearance came on the same day as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The office siren trend is going strong as sharp lines, sexy silhouettes, and office-ready apparel continue to crop up everywhere this winter. Although the most common outfit formula seems to be the blazer-plus-bra combo, Rachel McAdams just made the case for switching things up a little. The Notebook actress made a chic, pulled-together appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 20 wearing a sleek navy bodycon dress.

It featured a button-down design with a deep plunging neckline and center slit, along with slightly flared sleeves lending a feminine touch. She stuck with the go-to office siren hair style, sweeping her bronde hair back into a slick ’90s-coded updo with a center part and completed the look with white open-toed mules.
McAdams looked ready for business, and it makes sense, considering the fact that she celebrated one of her biggest career milestones on the same day, receiving the honor of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. For the ceremony, she wore a strapless black top with a dramatic peplum waist over a slinky butter yellow skirt.
I did drop my speech in the gutter right before I went up to do my speech, she said to Kimmel. Got a little sewage on it. But it was fine! McAdams was joined at the ceremony by her longtime boyfriend Jamie Linden, as well as About Time co-star Domhnall Gleeson and director Sam Raimi, both of whom spoke about her during the event.
The actress also joked that she was supported by many friends and family, which felt like about half of Canada. This major milestone marks the 2,833rd star on the famous boulevard and highlights her journey from a small town in Ontario to global superstardom.
Recently, McAdams has been very active in both film and theater. She made her Broadway debut in the play Mary Jane in 2024, which earned her a Tony Award nomination. On the movie front, she has a huge project coming out right now titled Send Help.
The film is a psychological horror-thriller directed by Sam Raimi, marking their second time working together after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In Send Help, McAdams stars as Linda, a woman stranded on a deserted island with her difficult boss after a plane crash.
The movie also stars Dylan O’Brien and is scheduled to hit theaters on January 30. Critics who saw the early screening at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday have already called it a must-see, with some saying it is a career-best performance for the actress.
She has also stayed busy raising her two children with Jamie Linden while choosing unique and challenging roles that keep her at the top of her game. Between her new star on the Walk of Fame and a potential box office hit, 2026 is already shaping up to be a massive year for the star.
