Rachel McAdams Stuns in Curve-Hugging Black Sparkle on the ‘Send Help’ Red Carpet
Rachel McAdams lit up the red carpet at the London premiere of Send Help, proving once again why she’s one of Hollywood’s most admired stars.
She arrived in a sleek black gown that hugged her curves and shimmered subtly under the lights, creating a look that was elegant but eye-catching. The figure-hugging design and high neckline let the dress speak for itself. Her chestnut hair fell in soft waves around her face, and her makeup was natural, with rosy lips and softly defined eyes.

The premiere was a big moment for McAdams, who has had a landmark year. Just days before, on January 20, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, celebrating her long and versatile career. Fans remember her from Spotlight, which earned her an Academy Award nomination, and her iconic role as Regina George in Mean Girls.

McAdams was joined at the gala by a number of familiar faces. Director Sam Raimi and co-star Dylan O’Brien were there to support her, along with a mini-reunion with About Time co-star Domhnall Gleeson. Her parents, Lance and Sandra, attended, as did her partner of nearly ten years, screenwriter and director Jamie Linden. The couple, who have been famously private since starting their relationship in 2016, share a son and a daughter, though they have never revealed their names publicly.

Send Help marks a notable return for McAdams to a leading film role. She plays Linda Liddle, a corporate strategist stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. She must survive alongside her boss, played by Dylan O’Brien, in a story that combines survival horror with dark humor. Critics have already praised her performance, calling it “unhinged” and showing a new side to her acting range.
McAdams’ recent years have been carefully balanced between work and family. Her last film role was in 2023’s Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, and her last major public appearance was at the 2024 Tony Awards, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Play for her Broadway debut in Mary Jane.
Send Help will be released nationwide on January 30. It is described as a mix between Misery and Castaway and marks Raimi’s return to character-driven thrillers.
