Ray J Pushes Forward With Racketeering Accusations Against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner

Ray J is continuing his legal battle against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, claiming the mother-daughter duo engaged in racketeering and other illegal activity.

The singer, best known for his 2005 hit “Sexy Can I,” alleges that Kardashian, 45, and Jenner, 70, worked with Vivid Entertainment to “defraud the public with their fake [defamation] lawsuit” against him, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

“To me, Kim and Kris have repeatedly engaged in a criminal enterprise and racketeering activity, violating RICO over and over again. I have no doubt about that,” Ray J said in the filings. He argues that their alleged racketeering is even more serious than claims previously made against Sean “Diddy” Combs in a federal trial.

Ray J also claims that Kardashian and Jenner committed credit card fraud by charging $850,000 to him and his family.

The legal dispute began after Kardashian and Jenner filed a defamation suit against Ray J in October. He responded with a countersuit the following month, accusing them of orchestrating the leak of their s** tape in 2007. Ray J claims that the release of the tape was not solely his decision and that Kardashian and Jenner played a role in its distribution through Vivid Entertainment.

He also alleges that Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West falsely accused him of s**** assault on the Hulu show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Ray J says these accusations, along with claims of revenge p*** and extortion, led to a $6 million settlement, which included an agreement to avoid further public mention of the tape. According to Ray J, Kardashian, Jenner, West, and Kendall Jenner violated this settlement almost immediately.

Ray J’s filing also mentions that he was allegedly pressured into signing the agreement and later faced attempts of “extortion” by Kardashian’s lawyers after speaking about the tape on a 2024 podcast.

Representatives for all parties involved have not yet responded to requests for comment.

This ongoing dispute highlights how long-running legal and personal conflicts can escalate when public figures are involved.
