Alan Ritchson, the physically imposing lead of the hit series Reacher, has found himself at the center of a real-world confrontation in a quiet Tennessee suburb. A video recently surfaced, appearing to show the actor involved in a physical dispute with a neighbor in Nashville on Sunday, March 22.

The footage captured what looks like the actor engaging with a local resident while two young children, reportedly his own sons, watched from their motorbikes nearby. The neighbor involved in the incident, Ronnie Taylor, has alleged that the tension began on Saturday when Ritchson was seen operating a green Kawasaki motorcycle.

Taylor claims the actor was traveling at high speeds and revving his engine, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful neighborhood atmosphere. After an initial exchange of hand gestures between the two men, the situation reportedly escalated when they crossed paths again the following day at noon.

According to Taylor’s account, he attempted to intervene by asking the actor to stop his behavior, but the conversation quickly turned violent. Taylor has since filed a report with local authorities, alleging that he was punched in the face and kicked during the struggle.

He further claims that after the actor fell from his own bike, he got back up and struck him in the back of the head. The complainant stated that he was hit at least four times while on the ground, resulting in visible swelling and bruising.

Despite the reported injuries, Taylor informed investigators that he chose not to seek immediate hospital treatment following the altercation. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that an active investigation is underway regarding the claims made by both parties involved.

As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made, and representatives for the actor have not yet issued a formal statement regarding the allegations. This incident comes at a time when Ritchson’s career has reached an all-time high, with several major projects currently in various stages of release.

Fans of his television work are particularly tuned in, as he recently celebrated the successful conclusion of the third season of Reacher. As of this year, the actor’s massive sci-fi spectacle, War Machine, premiered on Netflix to significant viewership numbers.

Directed by Patrick Hughes, the film features him as an elite special-ops recruit forced to battle an extraterrestrial mechanical threat in the Australian wilderness. The project also stars Jai Courtney and Dennis Quaid, further cementing the actor’s reputation as a top-tier action protagonist for global streaming audiences.

Additionally, he is currently in the middle of principal photography for an untitled biographical drama about Navy SEAL Michael E. Thornton, a role that reunited him with director Patrick Hughes. The actor is also slated to appear in the highly anticipated Fast & Furious 11, which is currently tracking for a late-year or early 2027 theatrical release.

Between his demanding filming schedule in Queensland and his recurring role in major film franchises, he remains one of the busiest figures in the industry. As the investigation in Nashville continues, many are watching to see how this personal dispute might impact his upcoming promotional obligations.
