Recent Reports Shed Light on Shuri’s Future in ‘Avengers’ Movies

‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ wasn’t as successful as the first movie, but it still did introduce important characters for the future of the MCU such as Riri Williams and Namor, and also gave us a new Black Panther – T’Challa’s sister Shuri.

Considering that Wakanda will be the focus of several MCU projects that are either bound to be released or in development, fans have been wondering when is Shuri’s next appearance going to be.

It was recently confirmed that ‘Black Panther 3’ is in development, however, several years will pass until the movie releases.

There has been a lot of speculation in recent weeks about T’Challa being recast in the MCU. However, those rumors were recently debunked by Nate Moore, who stated that there are no current plans to recast the character and that discussions on the matter haven’t even taken place yet. While he didn’t rule it out for the future, he made it clear that, for now, the rumor is simply untrue.

Now Industry Insider Daniel Richtman said that Shuri, MCU’s current Black Panther will appear in ‘Avengers’ movies.

Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez said the same thing just a few weeks ago. This makes absolute sense considering that the upcoming ‘Avengers’ films will be a mashup of tons of characters, it would be weird to leave out Shuri who is supposed to replace her brother as a vital collaborator of the Avengers as a team.
