Red Dead Redemption and its zombie-themed companion, Undead Nightmare, are coming to more players than ever, including Netflix subscribers, new mobile devices, and current-generation consoles.

According to Rockstar Games, the games will be available starting December 2, with free upgrades for current owners and several improvements to graphics and performance.

The new versions let players follow John Marston’s story right after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2.

In the main game, Marston struggles to escape his violent past, while Undead Nightmare adds a horror twist as players fight to survive a zombie outbreak. Both releases include the complete single-player campaigns and bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition.

For mobile players, Red Dead Redemption will debut on iOS and Android with mobile-friendly controls, allowing fans to take Marston’s adventures anywhere. Netflix subscribers can also download and play these versions on the same day as part of their subscription.

On next-gen consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, players can enjoy smoother gameplay at 60 frames per second, enhanced visuals, HDR support, and up to 4K resolution.

The Nintendo Switch 2 versions take full advantage of the hardware with DLSS, HDR, mouse controls, and the same smooth frame rates. Current owners on PS4, Xbox One, or the original Switch can upgrade for free, and previous save data will carry over so players can continue their progress.

These updated editions were developed with the help of Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games. They will also be available in the GTA+ Games Library and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on December 2.
