Rose Byrne is having a banner year, blending big awards wins with bold fashion choices that are turning heads everywhere.

The Australian actress recently graced the pages of TheWrap Magazine in a stunning photoshoot captured by Jeremy Liebman at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. For the shoot, she wore a sleek black Celine dress from the Resort 2026 collection that perfectly hugged her curves, making her look effortlessly glamorous.

Her appearance comes at a high point in her career. Byrne was honored at the festival with the Breakthrough Performance Award for her role in the indie drama If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. I can’t believe it. I feel like I’ve snuck into the back of the bus, she said about receiving the recognition, showing the same humility that fans have always admired.

The film, directed by Mary Bronstein, tells the story of Linda, a mother facing immense challenges as her husband disappears and family illness takes a toll. Byrne joked about the project’s modest production, saying, We shot this movie in 25 days for, like, $8.50. Despite its small budget, the movie has already earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, following her 2026 Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. I’m so proud of this tiny and unbelievable film, she said during her acceptance speech, highlighting how much independent cinema means to her.

Even with her awards success, Byrne is keeping busy. She starred in the drama Tow, directed by Stephanie Laing, where she plays a woman fighting to reclaim her stolen car while living on the edge of homelessness. She is also working on the Peacock series The Good Daughter alongside Meghann Fahy, where she is an executive producer, showing her growing influence behind the camera.

In addition, Byrne is returning to the stage in Fallen Angels at the Todd Haimes Theatre later this year, proving she can move seamlessly between film, TV, and theater. At the same time, she balances her family life with her partner, actor Bobby Cannavale, raising their two sons while staying in the public eye.

With the Oscars coming up on March 15, all attention is on Byrne to see if she will take home the top prize. From her early days in Australia to her current place among Hollywood’s elite, her journey has been defined by talent, hard work, and striking red carpet moments.

Rose Byrne is showing that it’s possible to balance serious acting with incredible style and real-life responsibilities. Her black Celine dress proves she can dominate both the screen and the red carpet. What do you think about her latest role and her fashion choices this season? Share your thoughts in the comments.
