Rumer Willis is making it clear that she has no interest in public debate regarding her choices as a mother. The 37-year-old actress recently utilized her Instagram platform to address those who have scrutinized her decision to continue breastfeeding her daughter, Louetta.

On Sunday, April 5, Willis posted a video featuring the nearly three-year-old, using a viral diagram to illustrate the boundary between her personal life and the business of others. The visual aid, which features a whiteboard drawing of non-overlapping circles, was designed to encourage onlookers to stay in their own lanes.

Willis punctuated the firm message with a brief but unapologetic caption that read, “Sorry, not sorry.” This response comes as she continues to navigate life as a single mother following her split from musician Derek Richard Thomas.

This latest social media post is part of a recurring pattern of Willis standing her ground against parenting critiques. Last year, she shared a filtered image of herself nursing Louetta at home, specifically targeting those who had taken issue with her timeline.

“For the haters who come at me about breastfeeding my 2-year-old I hope you have a blessed day,” she wrote at the time, proving she remains unbothered by external pressure. Beyond defending her breastfeeding journey, Willis has been candid about the physical and emotional toll of being a primary provider.

In February, she shared a photo depicting her overwhelming daily schedule, which included a mix of filming, laundry, and meal prepping. She noted that her life is far from the effortless experience many assume, clarifying that she works multiple jobs to support her daughter without the help of a trust fund.

While she manages her household, Willis has remained active in the industry with several notable screen credits. In late 2025, she appeared in a guest-starring role as Josie in the medical drama Dr. Odyssey, further expanding her television portfolio.

She also recently completed work on the independent Western Trail of Vengeance, where she stars as a widow named Katherine seeking justice in the 1870s. Fans can also look forward to seeing her in the upcoming thriller The Gun on Second Street, in which she plays the role of Ashley Pullman.

Between her busy acting schedule and her role as a creative officer for wellness brands, Willis continues to prioritize her career as the sole provider for her family.
