‘WandaVision,’ a popular Marvel series about Wanda Maximoff dealing with her loss, got a lot of love for its unique storytelling and digging into the characters’ feelings. It did so well that there are two new shows spinning off from it: ‘Agatha,’ coming to Disney+ soon, and ‘Vision Quest,’ which doesn’t have a release date yet.

Last year, the WGA Directory said ‘Vision Quest’ was expected to come out in the 2024-2025 TV season. Many fans were eager for it, but the SAG-AFTRA strike messed up a bunch of projects, and some got axed. Now, MyTimeToShineHello, a notable leaker and scooper, teased White Vision’s next appearance which we can only assume is ‘Vision Quest.’ The news are not good, if the rumors are true the show won’t see the light of day until 2026.

Many fans have pointed out that there’s too much time passing between the release of ‘WandaVision’ and ‘Vision Quest,’ and they believe the MCU is making a mistake by introducing characters and then delaying their standalone projects for years. Similar concerns arose with ‘Ironheart,’ which was rumored to be canceled but was later confirmed to still be in development.

According to a report by Deadline in October 2022, the second ‘WandaVision’ series was in progress, with Jac Schaeffer as the head writer and executive producer. In May 2023, it was announced that Eileen Shim had joined as a writer. Not much else is known about the series except that it focuses on White Vision.

In the finale of ‘WandaVision,’ we saw the creation of White Vision by S.W.O.R.D. Wanda’s Vision attempts to restore White Vision’s memories using the Mind Stone, sparking a philosophical debate about what defines a “real” Vision. Ultimately, White Vision regains his memories and departs without explanation, leaving his fate uncertain.
