Saban Films Acquires ‘The Unholy Trinity’ for Summer Release

And while the Western is a genre of the past in many ways, we can still see some amazing Western films even today. That is what makes this genre so amazing and so enduring, and why we love to see new such films.

One of them is the action western The Unholy Trinity, which had its festival premiere last year. We can now confirm that the movie has found its North American distributor and that a release date has been set.

In this report, we can confirm that Saban Entertainment has acquired the rights to this movie and that the movie will be released in North America on June 13, 2025.

The movie was written by Lee Zachariah and it was directed by Richard Gray (Murder at Yellowstone City), and it features a stellar cast. The movie is led by Pierce Brosnan (Golden Eye) and Samuel L. Jackson (The Hateful Eight) alongside Brandon Lessard (Classified). It also stars David Arquette (Scream franchise), Veronica Ferres (Crisis), Tim Daly (Madam Secretary), Ethan Peck (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), and Q’orianka Kilcher (Princess Kaiulani). 

It is set in 1870s Montana and is a revenge story that starts with the execution of one Isaac Broadway, who gives his estrange son, Henry (Lessard), an impossible task: he has to find and kill the man that framed him for the crime he is being executed for. 

Wanting to avenge his father, Henry travels to the town of Trinity, where he ends up being trapped between Gabriel Dove (Brosnan), the town’s upstanding new sheriff, and a mysterious figure named St. Christopher (Jackson).
