After years of waiting, fans of One Punch Man finally have something to celebrate. Viz Media has announced that the third season of the hit anime will premiere on October 12, with a worldwide release across several major streaming services.

According to Viz Media, viewers in the United States will be able to watch the new season on Hulu, while fans in Canada can stream it on Disney+.

Netflix will carry the show in Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. Crunchyroll will also stream the series for fans in Latin America and Oceania.

The wide rollout marks a major moment for the popular franchise. One Punch Man follows Saitama, a hero so strong that he can defeat any enemy with a single punch. Despite his unbeatable power, he struggles to find excitement and purpose in his life.

Season 3 will pick up with the Monster Association storyline, where elite S-class heroes join forces to save a hostage held by a group of dangerous monsters. Meanwhile, Garou, known as the “human monster,” wakes up inside the monsters’ hideout after a fierce battle.

The anime is based on the manga written by One and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Since its debut, the manga has sold more than 35 million copies worldwide and continues to attract readers through Shueisha’s Tonari No Young Jump webcomic site.

The new season brings back familiar voices. Makoto Furukawa returns as Saitama, and Kaito Ishikawa reprises his role as Genos. Shinpei Nagai directs the series, with Tomohiro Suzuki handling the script and J.C. STAFF in charge of animation.

For anyone who wants to catch up, the first two seasons are currently available on Hulu in the U.S. and Netflix in Canada and Latin America. Episodes can also be bought digitally through Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google TV, and Fandango at Home.
