Sam Raimi’s Horror Comeback: ‘Send Help’ Stars Rachel McAdams & Dylan O’Brien in Island Survival Thriller

Last July, It was reported that ‘Evil Dead’ director Sam Raimi had signed on to direct and produce ‘Send Help,’ a new horror-thriller from 20th Century Studios. By October, it was announced that Rachel McAdams, Raimi’s ‘Doctor Strange’ star, would co-lead the film. Now, it’s confirmed that Dylan O’Brien, known for ‘Teen Wolf’ and ‘Lake Caddo,’ will join her as the other lead.

‘Send Help’ is a survival horror thriller about two coworkers who survive a plane crash and end up stranded on a deserted island. With no one else around, they must face their past issues and learn to cooperate in order to survive.

As they struggle to stay alive, it becomes a tense battle of their determination and cleverness to escape the island.

The film is based on a script written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, known for their work on ‘Baywatch.’ Zainab Azizi will produce the film alongside Raimi Productions. ‘Send Help’ is expected to have a theatrical release, adding to the anticipation for its suspenseful storyline.
