Scarlett Johansson made a rare public appearance to celebrate the launch of Total Clarity, a new serum from her beauty brand, The Outset, and she looked effortlessly stunning. The Black Widow star opted for a classic satin slip dress with thin straps, a subtle V-neckline, and delicate lace trim.

She paired the flowing black dress with pointed-toe Mary Jane pumps, gold bracelets, a slim watch, rings, and gold stud earrings, keeping her look simple yet elegant. The launch party held a navy-blue theme, with the curtains, tablecloths, and floral arrangements all echoing the signature shade of the new product.

Johansson kept her hair down in her signature golden-blonde beachy waves with a middle part, giving her a relaxed vibe. Her makeup was glowy and polished, featuring smoky eyeshadow, fluttery lashes, defined brows, luminous skin, and glossy lips.

Even in a simple color, Johansson’s style and presence were impossible to miss. Her appearance proves that even though she makes fewer public outings these days, she still knows how to make them count.

While she has been focusing heavily on her beauty brand, Johansson’s acting career has also entered an exciting new phase. She recently led the summer 2025 blockbuster Jurassic World Rebirth as Zora Bennett, a covert operations expert. The film, which grossed over $869 million, also starred Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey.

Beyond her work in front of the lens, 2025 marked a historic milestone for Johansson as she made her feature directorial debut with the film Eleanor the Great. The poignant drama, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and hit theaters in September 2025, stars 95-year-old June Squibb as a woman rebuilding her life in New York City.

Critics praised her directorial style for its intimacy and emotional depth, and the film recently earned her a nomination for Best First Feature at the 2026 Astra Awards. Johansson has expressed that moving behind the camera was a long-held dream that she finally felt confident enough to pursue.

Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, the actress has a packed slate of high-profile projects. She is set to star in Mike Flanagan’s upcoming radical reimagining of The Exorcist, which recently moved its release date to early 2027. She is also rumored to be joining Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated The Batman: Part II.

In addition to her film projects, Johansson continues to thrive as an entrepreneur. The Outset, which she co-founded with Kate Foster, has expanded significantly and recently launched its line on QVC to reach a wider audience. The brand focuses on “radically gentle” skincare, a concept born from Johansson’s own struggles with sensitive skin during her years in the makeup chair.

Despite being recently overtaken by Zoe Saldaña as the highest-grossing actress of all time, Johansson remains a dominant force in the industry. Her ability to transition from Marvel superhero to indie director and skincare mogul demonstrates a career longevity that few in Hollywood can match.
