A new Christmas-themed teaser for Scream 7 has just surfaced online, giving fans an early glimpse of the upcoming slasher sequel. Shared on social media, the teaser features the chilling caption: “I like what you did with the house, Sidney.”

Scream 7 continues the long-running horror franchise, picking up with a new Ghostface killer targeting Sidney Prescott’s daughter.

Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding return to reprise their iconic roles, joined by newcomers including Isabel May, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, and Mark Consuelos. The film is directed by Kevin Williamson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Guy Busick, based on a story by Williamson and James Vanderbilt.

The project underwent several changes before production. Originally, Christopher Landon was set to direct after the departure of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett in 2023, but creative differences and the exit of stars Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega led to further retooling. Campbell confirmed her return in March 2024, with Williamson stepping in as director. Filming took place in early 2025 and wrapped by March.

Fans of the series will recognize familiar faces alongside the new cast, as the movie looks to blend nostalgia with fresh scares. Scream 7 is currently scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on February 27, 2026, via Paramount Pictures.
