ABC has officially brought back Scrubs with a 10th season set to air during the 2025–26 broadcast schedule. The reboot will premiere on February 25, 2026. Original cast members Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley, and Judy Reyes are all returning, and Bill Lawrence is back as executive producer.

The network released the first teaser for the new season, which is 30 seconds long. It shows JD, Turk, and Elliot walking through the halls of Sacred Heart Hospital while Big Dawg by Quise.B plays. JD greets a group of new interns with the line, “I’m back, baby,” leaving the interns confused since they don’t know him.

Turk and Elliot try to guide JD, telling him to act like Dr. Cox. At that moment, McGinley’s character appears from behind a curtain with Carla, played by Reyes.

Scrubs originally aired from 2001 to 2010 and became a fan favorite for its mix of humor and heart in a hospital setting. Since the show ended, Braff and Faison have reunited for commercials and small fan nods, but the new season marks the first time the full cast will return together.

The reboot also introduces a group of new interns, creating fresh dynamics while keeping the beloved characters in the spotlight.

This Scrubs revival is shaping up to be fun and nostalgic. Seeing JD, Turk, and Elliot back at Sacred Heart is exciting, and it looks like the show will balance old humor with new stories. Are you ready to return to Sacred Heart? Share your thoughts in the comments.
