Seeing Double? Hemsworth Brothers Steal the Spotlight at LA Premiere as Fans Can’t Tell Them Apart
The Hemsworth brothers turned heads at the Los Angeles premiere of the thriller Crime 101 on Tuesday, sharing the red carpet with their parents, Leonie and Craig. The evening was especially meaningful for the family, as Craig continues to face early-stage Alzheimer’s disease.
Chris Hemsworth arrived looking sharp in a dark brown suit with a matching long coat and a crisp white shirt. His younger brother Liam went for a more casual look, wearing a white jacket over a simple t-shirt paired with brown trousers and sneakers. Fans on social media were quick to notice how much the two resembled each other. One user wrote, “tf they look the same lol” while another asked, “twins or brothers??”

The premiere was part of a personal and professional milestone for Chris. The actor has been open about his family’s health, revealing in recent years that he has a higher genetic risk for Alzheimer’s. He also released a documentary called A Road Trip to Remember, which followed him and his father revisiting meaningful places from their past to help stimulate memory.
Despite these personal challenges, the night focused on celebration. Crime 101 is a gritty heist thriller adapted from a novella by Don Winslow. The film centers on a clever jewel thief whose crimes along the 101 freeway leave local police baffled. The movie also stars Halle Berry as a frustrated insurance broker, Mark Ruffalo as a determined detective, and includes Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte.
Meanwhile, Liam Hemsworth has been busy with his own career highlights. He recently debuted as Geralt of Rivia in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Witcher, taking over the role from Henry Cavill. He will continue with the series into its fifth and final season and has several film projects planned for late 2026.
Crime 101 is set to premiere in theaters worldwide on February 13. Sources at the event said Chris’s role in the film is one of his most complex to date, marking a shift from his usual superhero work to more grounded, character-driven roles.
Throughout the evening, the Hemsworths posed together for photos, showing a strong family bond despite the personal challenges they face.
