Sonic is back and faster than ever! SEGA just announced that SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS will be one of the first games to launch with the new Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025. Fans of Sonic, Shadow, and classic side-scrolling action can look forward to exciting new adventures with better graphics on the updated console.

But Sonic isn’t the only star of launch day. SEGA also revealed that Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S will also be released on the same day.

Another game, RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, will arrive two weeks later on June 19, 2025. SEGA’s fun museum simulator, Two Point Museum, will launch later in the year.
