Fans of the iconic sitcom Seinfeld got a festive surprise this Christmas when Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Larry David came together for a holiday gathering. The reunion, shared on Jerry Seinfeld’s Instagram, brought the beloved trio back into the spotlight, sparking excitement among comedy fans.

In his Instagram post, Jerry wrote, “‘The creatures were stirring…’ Christmas Eve 2025,” referencing the famous line from the poem Twas the Night Before Christmas. The reunion also marked Larry David’s first public appearance following the recent loss of his close friends Rob and Michele Reiner.

Seinfeld, created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, ran for nine seasons from 1989 to 1998. The show followed the life of a comedian and his quirky friends in New York City and became one of the most influential comedies in television history.

Although fans had hoped for a reunion in the past, Jerry Seinfeld dismissed such rumors in 2021, saying, “There’s absolutely nothing going on. I am very much a nostalgia person. I love to go to my house where I grew up on Long Island … But I like to go forward in life. I believe that going forward. I don’t know what we would do that would be good.”

The Christmas post delighted fans online, though some noticed the absence of Jason Alexander, who played George Costanza. “No Jason? George is gettin’ upset!!!” one fan joked, while another commented, “This is my Mount Rushmore.”

The reunion may have been short, but it reminded fans of the chemistry and humor that made Seinfeld a classic. Seeing the trio together again, even for a holiday gathering, brought a wave of nostalgia and joy to long-time viewers.
