The series is very popular and we’ll just have to see how the manga does in the future to make a proper prediction about the potential continuation of the series. In any case, the earliest we could see a potential second season is 2024, but we’d have to get some confirmation on the future during 2022 or 2023.
Seton Academy: Join the Pack! Season 2 trailer
You now know all the facts and our thoughts related to Seton Academy: Join the Pack! Season 2, which means that you’ve probably deduced for yourselves that there is no trailer for the second season of Seton Academy: Join the Pack!. This is because we do not know whether there will even be a second season of the show, which means that a trailer might not appear at all. But, based on all the information we have, this does not seem like a likely outcome.
As we have said, Seton Academy: Join the Pack! is a very likely candidate for a return. The anime has received acclaim from both professional skaters and the otaku community, and is very popular, with the manga still being published. After that, we have to wait and see whether there are actual plans for a continuation before we can make a proper prediction.
Taking into account everything we’ve said, a trailer for Seton Academy: Join the Pack! is unlikely to come out this or the next year. The earliest we could see a trailer is 2024, but we would have to get confirmation of a second season sometime during 2023 for that to happen.
Seton Academy: Join the Pack! Season 2 plot
At this moment, we do not know where the second season of Seton Academy: Join the Pack! could take us because we don’t know how many chapters of the manga the season could potentially adapt. Namely, due to a lack of information in general, we have absolutely no clue how far the second season might go if it even happens. What follows is a general overview of the show’s plot.
Due to a population decline, there are fewer humans than humanoid animals. Jin Mazama is a human boy who attends Seton Academy, where most of the students are animals. Jin hates animals, but luckily, a human woman named Hino Hitomi catches his eye.
Unfortunately, Jin finds himself attracting the attention of other animals such as Ranka Ōkami, a wolf who is the only one in his pack. In the world of Seton Academy, all male students and staff have the appearance of their species, while the females appear as various forms of moe girls with kemonomimi and other features such as tails and/or horns.
Seton Academy: Join the Pack! Season 2 cast
It’s still too early for us to discuss a potential second season of Seton Academy: Join the Pack! in terms of cast and characters, simply because we do not know whether there will even be a second season. But, seeing how we know that the series is going to have a more-or-less fixed cast, we really don’t expect to see too many changes in the structure of season two, if it ever happens. Now, the main characters that have appeared in season one, likely to return for a second season, include:
- Ranka Ōkami
Voiced by: Hina Kino
Species: Ezo Wolf
Ranka is one of the protagonists of the story, despite belonging to a sub-species of wolf, her behavior is usually like that of dogs (doing things like following bones, searching for food and protecting her territory), although she is a bit clumsy, she is kind and very energetic. When she was a cub, she was molested by 3 bears, until a human child “saved” her (according to her from her point of view), since then she has the desire to make a herd with various animal species. At the beginning of the story, she can be seen alone, making it clear that she is the only one of her kind in the academy, that makes her feel sad, since she cannot have friends and understanding that is happy when Jin Mazama (a human, which catches her attention) makes a “couple” with another human (Hitomi Hino). After a problem, with a trio of bears, she ends up making herd with Jin and Hitomi, whom she licks (Jin, in another case she kisses him) making them, officially, part of it.
- Jin Mazama
Voiced by: Haruki Ishiya
He is one of the only humans (along with Hitomi Hino) to attend Seton Academy. As a child, he attended a nursery where he lived with various animals, one day he saw that a wolf cub was bothered by 3 cubs (cub, which turned out to be Ranka), and when trying to defend her, he only received a beating from the cubs ; since then he hates animals. He is always seen as upset and wishing that the animals would “extinct”, but even so, he tends to be kind and help his teammates when they need it. He seems to have a lot of knowledge about animals, so he is very helpful when needed. He is attracted to Hitomi, so he seeks to be alone with her (which doesn’t work out, because Ranka or another animal always intervenes). He agrees to belong to Ranka’s pack, along with Hitomi; after this, Ranka kisses him, to later lick him.
- Hitomi Hino
Voiced by: Yume Miyamoto
She is a girl of the same age as Jin, and at the same time, one of the only humans in Seton Academy, so they are often mistaken as a couple. She has a taste for cooking, which leads her to create the Cooking Club. She is a cute and shy girl, who always worries about others, like with Ranka, who despite everything considered her a rival (since Ranka thought, that she would take Jin from her), one day after class she looks for Ranka, and after a talk, both began to get along but, at that moment, they are attacked by a group of bears, after Jin’s intervention at that moment she escapes, and calls a teacher, saving Ranka and Jin from the bears. So, she is considered by Ranka as part of the pack, so he ends up licking her.
- Yukari Komori
Voiced by: Misaki Kuno
She is a koala, who joins the Cooking Club, since she is fed up with eating only eucalyptus, and besides that, because she wants to find a dish that she ate, long ago, but she doesn’t remember. She has great cooking skills, although she uses eucalyptus for her dishes; After discovering that, when he was a baby, he fed on his mother’s feces (this being a way of feeding the koala cubs, since they have not yet developed a bacteria against the eucalyptus poison) he begins to create dishes based on excrement.
- Miyubi Shisho
Voiced by: Konomi Kohara
She is lazy, and being of this species, she is limited to doing many activities, because if her environment changes temperature, she over-exerts herself, or eats something she is not used to eating, she will “die”, although just pass out. She joins the Cooking Club on Ranka’s advice, as she tells her that she can make friends there; even though she can’t do sports, this is her favorite activity.
- Kurumi Nekomai
Voiced by: Sora Tokui
She is a kind of house cat, according to Yukari she was chosen as Miss Female, for 3 years in a row in high school; she emits a kind of purr, which makes people do what she wants without hesitation. She joins the Cooking Club, showing that she does it out of interest but, in the end, she is just looking for attention. Despite not being in the “official” Cooking Club, she watches the members from afar, so she is considered a “ghost member” of the club.
