Sharon Osbourne certainly didn’t hold back as she stood on stage to accept a lifetime achievement award for her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne. The emotional moment took place at the 32nd BRIT Awards in Manchester on Saturday, February 28, where Sharon was joined by her daughter, Kelly Osbourne.

First of all, what a f—ing good evening it’s been! The 73-year-old matriarch shouted to the crowd, immediately setting a tone that felt perfectly in line with the Prince of Darkness’s legacy.

She took a moment to praise the other artists in attendance before joking about Ozzy’s well-known distaste for formal ceremonies. I know that Ozzy is looking down on us all right now, and I know what he is thinking, she told the laughing audience. He’d be saying, “Hey, missus, shut the f— up!”

Despite the humor, Sharon’s speech was anchored in deep respect for her husband’s career and his humble nature. She shared that he never felt he could thank people enough for the life he led and the support he received.

He may not be here, but he left us one amazing body of work that will never be forgotten by the country that made him, she said before concluding with a defiant, There will never be another Ozzy f—ing Osbourne!

Kelly Osbourne also took the microphone to share her gratitude with the fans who have supported the family since Ozzy’s passing in July 2025. Thank you for loving my father as much as we do, she said, ending her time on stage with a passionate shout-out to Aston Villa, her father’s beloved soccer team.

The family has been notably open about their grief on their podcast, The Osbournes, where Kelly previously admitted she never imagined a day would come when her father wouldn’t be here.

The Osbourne family has remained incredibly productive while navigating this period of mourning. Sharon is currently working with concert promoters to bring back Ozzfest in 2027, intending to create a platform for a new generation of diverse musical talent.

She is also overseeing a major documentary about Ozzy’s final hometown concert in Birmingham, which she teased is all under wraps but is currently in active development. Jack Osbourne recently shared that the long-awaited Ozzy biopic has finally found its lead actor, though the name is being kept secret for now.

We have our decided pick, and I can’t say anything [yet], but it’s a phenomenal, phenomenal actor, Jack revealed during a recent radio appearance. The film, which is being produced by Sony Pictures, is expected to focus on the wild and unfiltered years of Ozzy and Sharon’s early relationship between 1979 and 1999.

Meanwhile, Kelly is balancing her podcast duties with a potential return to reality television, with rumors circulating about a series focused on her life as a mother to her son, Sidney.

The family continues to use their media house to keep Ozzy’s spirit alive, releasing archival footage and personal stories that show the softer side of the heavy metal legend. Even as they move forward with new projects, the Osbournes remain dedicated to ensuring that the world never forgets the “mighty force” that was Ozzy.
