Sharon Stone made a striking appearance at the Hollywood premiere of the pirate epic The Bluff on February 17, though her look quickly became a topic of intense discussion among fans.

The 67-year-old actress arrived at the TCL Chinese Theatre with a noticeably fuller visage, prompting many to wonder if she had recently visited a cosmetic surgeon. Her skin appeared exceptionally smooth, but the sharp definition of her famous cheekbones and jawline seemed softened by a new, rounded volume.

Experts suggest that the change isn’t the result of permanent surgery but rather the effect of temporary aesthetic enhancements. According to a professional assessment, the fullness in her midface and around her mouth is consistent with recent injections like hyaluronic acid fillers or biostimulatory treatments.

When these procedures are refreshed just before a major red carpet event, they can often appear slightly over-projected or swollen before eventually settling into the tissue over a few weeks.

While volume restoration is a common way to manage the natural loss of bone density and fat that comes with aging, it remains a delicate balancing act. Even a temporary over-application can create a heavier appearance that translates differently under the harsh, high-resolution lighting of a world premiere.

Despite the social media buzz, specialists noted that Stone still maintains her recognizable facial structure, avoiding the permanent, overfilled look seen in some other high-profile figures.

Stone’s relationship with cosmetic procedures has been deeply personal and complicated by her health history. Following a life-altering stroke and brain hemorrhage in 2001, she transitioned from viewing Botox as a cute luxury to a painful neurological need.

She famously shared that she required over 300 injections to restore symmetry to her face after the medical crisis. This history has made her fiercely protective of her natural self, even reportedly ending a relationship with a man who suggested she get Botox for her ego.

The premiere of The Bluff marks a busy start to the year for the actress, who was seen celebrating at the TCL Chinese Theatre alongside the film’s cast, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karl Urban.

Directed by Frank E. Flowers and produced by the Russo Brothers, the film stars Chopra Jonas as a former pirate protecting her family and is set for a global release on Prime Video on February 25. While Stone attended as a special guest, her presence served as a reminder of her enduring status as one of the industry’s most prominent legends.

Beyond the red carpet, Stone has been dedicating much of her time to her burgeoning career as a visual artist. She has recently held solo exhibitions of her paintings in cities like Berlin and San Francisco, and she frequently shares videos from her studio on social media.

She also recently accepted the Timeless Award at the Astra Film Awards, where she used her platform to question why society remains so afraid of aging and the reality of the human body.
