Simu Liu Teases Fans with New Photo, Sparks X-Mansion Speculation
Simu Liu has sparked excitement among Marvel fans after sharing a new photo on social media that many believe was taken at the X-Mansion.
Fans immediately began speculating that the image is linked to the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, the next big installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This isn’t the first time hints about the X-Mansion have appeared. During filming, several leaks showed architecture resembling the iconic X-Men headquarters, aligning with how it’s depicted in previous films and in the comics.
Avengers: Doomsday is produced by Marvel Studios and AGBO, distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and will serve as the fifth Avengers film following Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a script by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, the film brings together a massive ensemble cast. Returning stars include Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, and Robert Downey Jr., alongside members of the X-Men and Fantastic Four, and new additions like Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Hannah John-Kamen.
The story takes place fourteen months after the events of Thunderbolts*. In Avengers: Doomsday, the Avengers team up with Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, and the “original” X-Men to face Doctor Doom, played by Downey.
Production began in April at Pinewood Studios in England and included location shoots in England and Bahrain. Filming wrapped in September, and the movie is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU. Its sequel, Secret Wars, will follow on December 17, 2027.
