Skeet Ulrich Reportedly Set to Return For ‘Scream 7’

‘Scream 7’ is one of the most highly awaited upcoming horrors. The movie had a difficult production so far. The movie was reworked after directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett left in August 2023, followed by the departure of stars Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega in November.
Neve Campbell confirmed her return to the franchise in March 2024 after missing ‘Scream VI.’ Kevin Williamson, a writer and producer from the early ‘Scream’ films, was brought on as director.
The plot is still a secret, but Neve Campbell revealed the new movie will focus on Sidney and her family, shifting back from the Carpenter sisters seen in ‘Scream’ released in 2022 and ‘Scream 6’ released in 2023.
Now according to popular industry insider Daniel Richtman, one more name will be returning to the franchise – Skeet Ulrich. Richtman posted this information on his Patreon account and the role is at this point unconfirmed by the official sources.
Skeet Ulrich is an American actor best known for playing Billy Loomis in ‘Scream’ (1996). Billy was the original Ghostface killer in the movie. Ulrich has also starred in ‘Riverdale’ as FP Jones, Jughead’s dad.
The cast also includes Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers and Mason Gooding as Chad Meeks-Martin.New additions include Isabel May as Sidney’s daughter, along with Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, McKenna Grace, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos and Anna Camp.
‘Scream 7’ is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 27, 2026.
