Snoop Dogg has officially stepped in to defend his long-time friends David and Victoria Beckham following a series of public verbal attacks from their eldest son. Brooklyn Beckham, 26, recently shocked fans by posting a detailed six-page statement on social media.

Making it clear that he has no interest in reconciling with his parents. In response to the escalating family drama, the legendary American rapper did not hesitate to remind the world of the character of his close friend.

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist spoke warmly of his bond with the former footballer, noting that David is my boy, we have been friends for over 20 years now. He emphasized that, having watched each other’s children grow up, he can personally attest to the fact that one thing about David is that he is a family man. According to the rapper, regardless of the global fame and immense wealth the Beckhams have achieved, there ain’t nothing more important to him than his family.

Speaking with The Mirror, Snoop Dogg acknowledged the unique difficulties of maintaining a private family life while living under a constant spotlight. He admitted that no family is perfect, but pointed out that the pressure is significantly intensified when every disagreement becomes public knowledge. Despite the current rift, the hitmaker remains optimistic about a future peace, stating that in time, they are gonna work things out because of the deep underlying love he has witnessed within the household.

The friendship between the D-O-Double-G and the Manchester United legend dates back to the early 2000s, a period that has seen them support each other through numerous career transitions.

Their bond was famously showcased in 2007 during an episode of the reality show Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, where the pair attempted to teach the rapper’s children the basics of soccer. Over the years, they have remained so close that David is often one of the first people to hear Snoop’s new music before it even reaches his record label.

The current conflict stems from Brooklyn’s explosive claims that his parents attempted to sabotage his relationship with his wife, billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz. He further alleged that his mother’s behavior at their 2022 wedding was inappropriate, a sentiment seemingly echoed by the event’s DJ, Fat Tony. The DJ recently described the atmosphere at the reception as really awkward and confirmed reports that the bride was left in tears during what should have been a celebratory evening.

As of this year, Snoop Dogg is busier than ever, balancing his music career with a major presence on television. He recently returned as a coach for the 28th season of The Voice on NBC, a role that has made him a favorite among fans for his laid-back mentorship style.

Do you think Brooklyn Beckham is right to air his family’s private grievances publicly, or should some matters always be handled behind closed doors? Share your thoughts in the comments.
