Sofia Vergara, 53, Stuns in Plunging Red Dress as Luxury Steak Dinner Evolves Into Family Party
Sofía Vergara recently demonstrated that she and her family truly understand how to celebrate, transforming a luxury dining experience into a full-blown fiesta. The Modern Family alum turned heads in a striking red corset dress with a plunging neckline as she arrived for dinner at Papi Steak in Miami on Friday night.
According to observers at the scene, Vergara and her lively party were seated at a reserved table where the celebratory drinks flowed freely throughout the evening. The group did not hold back when it came to the menu, reportedly ordering two of the restaurant’s famous $1,000 steaks.
These lavish cuts are known for their theatrical presentation, arriving at the table in a gold-lined briefcase. The 53-year-old actress was seen dancing the night away with her mother, Margarita, to reggaeton tracks. They were particularly energized by the 2025 hit NUEVAYoL by Bad Bunny, according to onlookers who watched the family enjoy the Miami nightlife.
Although she took a few moments to snap selfies with eager fans, Vergara tried to keep a relatively low profile to focus on her time with her loved ones. She later took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the festivities with her followers, posting several photos of her family together.
The actress captioned the collection of sweet snapshots with the phrase Miami nights con la family, which translates to Miami nights with the family. The weekend wasn’t just about late-night dancing; the Colombian native also made sure to enjoy the Florida sun.
Vergara, who typically resides in Los Angeles, spent part of her Friday sunbathing and shared a daring photo on her Stories. Throughout the trip, she continued to document her vacation, posting photos of herself sipping coffee and enjoying the weather with her mother. She summed up the experience by telling her followers that it was another perfect day in Miami.
While she certainly found time to relax, Vergara also used the trip to focus on her growing business empire. She spent time promoting her Dios Mio Coffee brand as well as Toma, a Latin culinary brand she co-owns with her 34-year-old son, Manolo.
The duo worked together at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, where they hosted a grand tasting event to showcase their products to fellow food enthusiasts. Outside of her culinary ventures, Vergara’s acting career is reaching new heights following her critically acclaimed turn in the Netflix limited series Griselda.
Her performance as the notorious “Godmother” earned her an Emmy nomination and proved her range far beyond her iconic role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett. Most recently, she lent her voice to the character Valentina in the blockbuster Despicable Me 4 and appeared in Jennifer Lopez’s cinematic project This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.
Looking forward, the actress has a busy slate of projects for the remainder of the year. She is set to star in the dark comedy Thumb alongside Milly Alcock and Awkwafina, a wild adventure that follows a young woman attempting to return a severed thumb she received in the mail.
