Sony’s Marvel Movie ‘Morbius’ Delayed For The Seventh Time!

Sony’s Marvel Movie ‘Morbius’ Delayed For The Seventh Time!

If someone told Jared Leto, or any of us, that this would happen, we would say their mind isn’t in the right place. According to numerous reliable sources around the internet, Sony delayed Morbius. Again. For the seventh time already.

Remember these dates: from…July 10, 2020, July 31, 2020, March 19, 2021, October 8, 2021, January 21, 2022, January 28, 2022, and now April 1, 2022. Turns out New Mutants, Fox’s Marvel movie that was delayed four times was actually in good graces with delays compared to Morbius.

The first trailer for the movie was released in early 2020, back when everyone thought the movie will arrive in July 2020. The newest trailer was released last Fall just when we thought that January 2022 is the final release date. Well, we thought wrong. When the movie, if the movie, finally hits theaters on April 1 now, we’ll probably say “Haha, April’s Fools, there’s no way that movie was released.”

Sony’s latest movie Spider-Man: No Way Home was released last month and it became the highest-grossing movie Sony ever released. With over $1.3 billion, it’s currently the 12th highest-grossing movie of all time. As for Morbius, we’re beginning to ask ourselves does anyone even cares anymore.

Jared Leto is playing Michael Morbius, a Ph.D. who’s suffering from a rare blood disease. In a desperate attempt to cure himself, he will be subjected to some sort of vampirism, which will turn him into an anti-hero Morbius, The Living Vampire.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Morbius is now set to be released on April 1, 2022.
