The newest episode of South Park took aim at another figure from the Trump administration, and this time it was Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. The story comes from the latest season of the long-running show, which has been tackling political names one after another.

In the Thanksgiving episode called “Turkey Trot,” the show brings Hegseth into the spotlight for the first time this season. South Park’s version of Donald Trump sends him to town with a mission to break Peter Thiel out of jail. But instead of acting like a government official, Hegseth is shown as someone glued to his phone, filming everything like an influencer.

At one point, Trump grows frustrated and tells him, “Don’t just make a bunch of content. Like, actually go and do something.”

While that happens, the people of South Park prepare for a local 5k event sponsored by Saudi Arabia. There’s a catch: runners are warned not to say anything negative about the Saudi royal family. Cartman tries to build a winning team and pulls Token into the race, calling himself a “racing scientist” and claiming Token will give them an edge.

When Hegseth finally arrives in town, he jumps to the wrong conclusion and thinks the race is some sort of violent protest. He immediately starts streaming the whole scene. Things get even stranger when Homeland Security director Kristi Noem shows up. In a chaotic moment that echoes a story from her own memoir, she ends up s****** a dog. After all the confusion, Hegseth’s mission falls apart, and he ends up locked up right next to Thiel.

This season of South Park has made headlines for its direct approach to satirizing the current administration. The show continues to push the envelope, and this episode adds another name to its list of targets.
