Anticipation for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has been building for months, with Tom Holland set to return as a Peter Parker still adjusting to life after the reality altering ending of ‘No Way Home’. Every new detail that trickles out has sent fans into overdrive, and the film’s growing roster of allies and enemies has only added to the mystery surrounding what Peter faces next.

Part of that mystery has centered on two very different additions to the MCU’s Spidey corner, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. Their inclusion alone raised eyebrows, but exactly how their paths would cross with Peter’s remained largely speculative until very recently.

That speculation got a major jolt this week when the fan account MCU Film News shared a striking piece of concept art, crediting the find to AIPT Comics. The image shows a chaotic mid air clash between Spider-Man, a green skinned Hulk, and what appears to be Punisher themed gear, giving fans their clearest look yet at a three way confrontation many had only guessed at.

The artwork reportedly comes from an early copy of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Art Of The Movie’, a hardcover companion book that leaked online ahead of its official release. The leak offered confirmation of a massive Spider-Man, Hulk, and Punisher showdown, alongside alternate Punisher designs and early looks at a Grey Hulk concept that may not have made the final cut. Other pages reportedly focused on Damage Control and villains like Boomerang and Ramrod, though the leak notably avoided spoiling bigger mysteries such as Sadie Sink’s still unconfirmed character.

The Hulk’s role in the story has been a particular point of fascination, especially with reports suggesting Bruce Banner loses his usual composure. According to leaked footage details, Banner’s gamma inhibiting device reportedly stops working in the film, causing him to revert to a more dangerous Savage Hulk state while Peter looks on in terror. Producer Amy Pascal touched on this shift while speaking with Empire, describing Banner as a character going through a constant transformation while trying to control who he is, and noting how well that mirrors what Peter himself is going through.

Rumors have also tied the transformation to Sadie Sink’s mysterious character, widely believed to be Jean Grey. Some leaked details suggest her telepathic abilities are what push Banner past his breaking point, setting off the Hulk’s rampage and forcing Spider-Man to team up with Punisher to try to stop him. It is a wild premise even by Marvel standards, and it explains why this particular concept art has fans buzzing.

With ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ set to hit theaters on July 31, alongside returning stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, there is still plenty Marvel and Sony are keeping under wraps. But between the leaked art book and mounting rumors, the picture of Peter Parker’s next chapter is coming into sharper, stranger focus. Do you think Spider-Man and Punisher can actually bring down a rampaging Hulk, or is this trio headed for something even messier than fans expect?
